Delete Your Data — Paintball Team-Up

How to request deletion

To delete your Paintball Team-Up account:

Open the Paintball Team-Up app and sign in.
Go to your Profile tab.
Scroll to the Danger Zone section and tap Delete Account.
Type DELETE to confirm.

Deletion is immediate and irreversible — there is no grace period once you confirm. If you can't access the app (e.g. you're locked out), email us at [email protected] from the address on your account and we'll process the request on your behalf.

What gets deleted

When you delete your account, we permanently remove:

Name, email address, and phone number
Username and display name
Birthdate and gender
Precise and approximate location data
Device metadata and push notification tokens
App settings and preferences

You're immediately signed out, removed from any upcoming games you'd joined (so hosts get an accurate headcount), and no longer receive notifications. Your username and email become available again if you ever want to sign up again.

What we keep, and why

A small amount of non-identifying data is retained rather than deleted, so that games you've already played remain accurate for the other players who were there:

Gameplay history: Matches you’ve played, XP, achievements, and streaks are kept so past games stay accurate for the other players in them — but they’re no longer linked to your identity.
Legal consent records: A record that you agreed to our Terms and Privacy Policy, kept as a compliance record.
Data required by law: Anything we’re legally obligated to retain, such as records needed to comply with a legal process.

Retention period

Deletion of your personal information happens immediately when you confirm in the app — there's no waiting period. Data we're required to retain for legal or regulatory purposes (see above) is kept only as long as that obligation requires.
